Tap to pay on site
from the Yes Foreman platform
Take the full balance or a deposit on site with a payment link from the job, and watch it land before you're back in the van. Contactless Tap to Pay is on the way.

Tap to pay on site in Foreman: how it works
Getting paid before you leave the driveway beats sending an invoice and waiting. Foreman's mobile app has a Take payment screen on every issued invoice, so you can collect the full balance or a deposit on the spot and have the invoice update itself.
Step 1
Open the invoice on your phone
On an issued invoice with a balance, tap Take payment. Leave the amount blank or tap Full balance for everything owing, or tap Half for a part payment.
Step 2
Send a payment link
Choose a Stripe payment link and send it to the client by text or email. They pay on Stripe's secure page on their own phone.
Step 3
Watch it mark itself paid
When the payment succeeds, Foreman marks the invoice Paid and updates the balance due. No reconciling by hand.
Step 4
Tap to Pay on the phone
Contactless Tap to Pay with Stripe is built into the app and will switch on in released builds once Apple's provisioning is complete. Payment links work today.
Tap to pay on site: common questions
Can I take a card payment on my phone today?
Today you take payment on site with a Stripe payment link from the Take payment screen. Contactless Tap to Pay is not yet available in released builds.
Where does the money go?
Client payments go to your own Stripe merchant account, not to Foreman. You connect Stripe under Settings → Payments.
Can I take a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes. Enter any amount up to the balance, or tap Half. An amount above the balance is flagged before any link is created.
